The Monsters that Weren't

Ahh, what could have been. Now that The Lava is a Floor (check out the official site here) is done and at the printer, I figured this would be a nice time to look back at some of the monster designs that didn’t make it. Yeah, number 2 is a little to scary; but number 3 would have made a sweet stuffed toy. Anyway, enjoy the concept sketches and look for the book this August in comic shops everywhere.
